Due to recent changes at Petstock, Puppy Preschool classes are no longer being conducted through the store.

While Puppy Preschool is no longer available, I continue to offer in-home puppy advice and guidance to help new puppy owners through those important early stages of their puppy’s development.

These personalised sessions provide support and practical advice in the comfort of your own home until your puppy is old enough to attend a puppy obedience class.

With over 20 years of experience, I specialise in puppy kindergarten and preschool classes, obedience training, behavioural coaching, private lessons, as well as social walk-and-train sessions.

My daughter didn’t gel with the previous trainer, Dean straight away showed he listened and cared about how she was feeling and the stress that the puppy was causing her. Dean has taught us many techniques in the obedience class with our pup, we’ve chatted about the pups character, energy. We listened and now use a halti for walking and Oakley no longer walks us and walks are not stressful now. We are working on several techniques, recall specifically. Oakley loves Dean, I video our sessions as I need the reminder of what was taught, Oakley is fascinated when he hears Deans voice and he intently listens and head tilts at Deans voice. We will look into the next step for training as Oakley is bred specifically as a therapy dog. He’s just 8 months and I plan to continue his training with Dean.

I thought my dog was untrainable until I met Dean and now I've learnt why she's super excited and how to respond to her.
